Training Sessions

We have regular swim, bike and run training sessions, as well as strength and conditioning. Please check below or contact us for more information on sessions available to our members.

SWIM

We have weekly training swim sessions and open water swims in season. 

We can also cater for individual sessions by arrangement.

 

CCTS Swim – Coached (Tuesdays) 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Location:   Casey ARC Aquatic & Recreation Centre 10 Patrick Northeast Drive, Narre Warren, VIC

CCTS Session Cost:   Purchase 10 x coached swim sessions - contact CCTS for current pricing.

Additional Costs:   Casey ARC YMCA Casual Admission - see: https://www.caseyarc.ymca.org.au/membership-admission/memberships

Please bring:   swim cap, goggles, towel, pull buoy, kick board

Requirement: all participants must have an appropriate current Triathlon Australia membership (with insurance) and CCTS membership

BIKE

We get together for regular social rides, both indoor (ZWIFT) and outdoor to suit all abilities.

We also have regular group coaching sessions with an Australian Professional cyclist.

We can cater for individual sessions by arrangement.

 

CCTS Bike Ride – Social - Long (Saturdays)  6:00 am - 10:00 am

Please bring:  lights, repair kit, spare tubes, drink bottle, Road ID (emergency contact to be provided to CCTS prior), helmet, nutrition for the ride, mobile phone and bike/tri insurance.

RUN

We have regular run training sessions, social sessions and clinics including bricks with swim or bike.

Coached - Group and Individual Training Programs

Coached sessions are organised by the CCTS coaching team and can be group or individual one-on-one training sessions.

Coached training requires a CCTS members 'click card' (for swim, bike and run coached sessions). 'Click cards' are available from the coaches and must be presented at each session.

Social Training

Social training sessions are organised by CCTS but are not coached sessions. As part of the CCTS membership all club members are invited to join social training sessions.

An example of the social training available to club members is the Saturday morning bike ride.  On the calendar social training sessions are identified as ‘Social’.

Social training sessions do not require a CCTS members 'click card', however you may be required to pay additional costs, such as for pool entry or for coffee.

Social Rides

CCTS has weekly social rides at various locations including hill riding at Mt Baw Baw, flat riding along Beach Road, and in and around the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire.

The social rides can cater for long course and short course athletes.

Contact us for details with regards to the dates, times and locations.

The social ride organiser will provide:

Date, leaving time and location details and distance options (via Strava map link)

 

*Cyclists ride at own risk: ensure you have insurance.

For all social rides be ready to leave at the time specified (i.e. If the advertised ride is ‘leaving 6am’, plan to arrive 15 minutes early to prepare).

Ensure you have all the necessary road cycling equipment and your bike is road worthy (i.e. serviced regularly). Suggested equipment to bring with you: front & back lights, repair kit, spare tubes, Road ID*, helmet, nutrition and mobile phone.

Complimenting our Coaching Team, our Partners offer a range of skills to support the athlete.

Partner Training sessions are identified on the calendar as ‘Partner’.
