Training Sessions

Training sessions are offered throughout the week in swim, bike and run, as well as strength and conditioning. CCTS provides coached and social training sessions.

Coached - Group and Individual Training Programs

Coached sessions are organised by the CCTS coaching team and can be group or individual one-on-one training sessions.

Coached training requires a CCTS members 'click card' (for swim, bike and run coached sessions). 'Click cards' are available from the coaches and must be presented at each session.

On the Events calendar the coaching sessions available are identified as ‘Coached’.

ADULTS: $80 for 10 sessions (available for swim, bike and run)

CHILD (under 16): $50 for 10 sessions

Social Training

Social training sessions are organised by CCTS but are not coached sessions. As part of the CCTS membership all club members are invited to join social training sessions.

An example of the social training available to club members is the Saturday morning bike ride.  On the calendar social training sessions are identified as ‘Social’.

Social training sessions do not require a CCTS members 'click card', however you may be required to pay additional costs, such as for pool entry or for coffee.

 

Social Rides

CCTS has weekly social rides at various locations including hill riding at Mt Baw Baw, flat riding along Beach Road, and in and around the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire.

The social rides can cater for long course and short course athletes.

The social ride organiser will provide:

Date, leaving time and location details and distance options (via Strava map link)

 

*Cyclists ride at own risk: ensure you have insurance.

For all social rides be ready to leave at the time specified (i.e. If the advertised ride is ‘leaving 6am’, plan to arrive 15 minutes early to prepare).

Ensure you have all the necessary road cycling equipment and your bike is road worthy (i.e. serviced regularly). Suggested equipment to bring with you: front & back lights, repair kit, spare tubes, Road ID*, helmet, nutrition and mobile phone.

 

 

Partner Training

Complimenting our Coaching Team, our Partners offer a range of skills to support the athlete.

Partner Training sessions are identified on the calendar as ‘Partner’.

Partner Training sessions are organised by our partners and may include additional costs.
